摘要

Crude futures surged higher Friday as ongoing violence and protests in Libya continued to curtail the country's oil exports, as well as giving rise to fears the unrest could spread to other oil-producing countries. Nymex April crude futures settled up $2.51 to $104.42 per barrel while in London on ICE Futures, April Brent crude settled up $1.18 at $115.97. Nymex April gasoline continued its rise higher - underscoring US retail prices that have risen to the $4.00 per gallon level - settling up 2.02¢ to $3.0464/gallon.
