A new palaearcitc species of chalcids from the genus Eridontomerus (Hymenoptera, Torymidae)

摘要

A new species from the genus Eridontomerus Crawford, E. sapphyrinus sp. n. is described. The species was reared from stems of two Leymus (Poacea) species collected in sand dunes of the Caspian Sea and Black Sea shores. The new species is similar to E. isosomatis Ril., but differs from it in larger size, bright blue-green body, longer funical segments and longer abdomen in females. Holotype and paratypus are kept in the collection of the Institute of Zoology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kiev).
