摘要

The process of design and modeling of technological lines functioning in pulp-and-paper industry is considered. The object-oriented modeling technology is applied, which allows to reduce the time of design and to raise the validity of project decisions due to the integration of design and modeling procedures. Immediate forecast of the line functioning results is provided by the processing engineer who has no special skills in programming, due to the synthesis of the line structure and its parameters on the computer screen and viewing its functioning. Methods of the designed projects evaluation are given.
