Water Conservation in Passenger Coaches of Indian Railways

Requirement of water having satisfactory quality is so large for domestic, agricultural and industrial use that shortages in one place cannot be met by transporting it economically over large distances. In the water front, inspite of engineering knowhow continuously reaching out for more, a stage has reached, when efforts are needed within the regions, communities, homes and the inhabitants to conserve and meet the needs, while respecting water's life sustaining function.
