Investigation on Rotor Vibration Characteristics of Turbo-generator under Air Gap Eccentricity and Rotor Short Circuit Composite Faults

摘要

This paper investigates the characteristics of the turbo-generator rotor vibration under normal condition and the air gap eccentricity and rotor interturn short circuit composite faults, and analyzes the effects of the eccentricity factor and the short circuit factor on the rotor vibration characteristics. Firstly the air gap magnetic flux density of the composite faults is deduced, and the formula of the magnetic pull per unit area is obtained. Then the unbalanced magnetic pulls (UMP) of x-axis and y-axis that act on the rotor are further deduced. Based on the deductions, three types of the composite faults are respectively studied to analyze the developing situation of the UMP and the rotor vibration characteristics. Finally experiments are taken on a SDF-9 non-salient fault simulating generator to verify the theoretical results. The investigation results of this paper will be beneficial to the composite faults diagnosis of turbo-generator.
