Influence of Fertility on Internal and External Color of Tomato

Tornato production under high tunnels has been investigated at the Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center (SWMREC) since 2005. The 2005 and 2006 trials evaluated nutrients (primarily nitrogen) and the 2007 trial was planted to 14 fresh market and six Roma-type tomatoes to evaluate potential genetic differences in fruit yield and quality. This presentation will report findings from all three years.
