Sinclair Plans 60% Expansion of Tulsa Refinery

Sinclair Tulsa Refining (STRC), part of Salt Lake City, Utah-based Sinclair Oil, announced plans last week to expand its Tulsa, Okla., refinery by 60%, to 115,000 b/d.The project will increase the refinery's ability to produce gasoline and diesel fuel and result in net air quality improvements, said STRC Executive Vice President Kevin Brown.
