Correct wheel alignment and suspension geometry is essential for safe and accurate handling, not to mention improving ride comfort and tyre wear. IN OUR LAST ISSUE we looked at all the options for modifying the springs, dampers and other suspension parts to improve roadholding and handling. But no matter how well engineered or sophisticated a suspension set-up might be, with its ride-height adjustment and bump and rebound damping control, poly bushes and additional braces, if the basic: suspension geometry isn't properly set up then the expected improvements in handling are seldom fully realised.
