REGULAR readers will know that we have already upgraded the front brakes of our Mk 4 GTI 1.8T (August 2004 issue) using the 312 mm front discs from an Audi TT. A straightforward bolt-on conversion, using the standard TT callipers, carriers and discs, along with Pagid Fast Road pads, this has proven very effective for fast road use and occasional track days.
