Cat Owners: Continuing Their Education

Obviously, cat owners care about their pets as much as dog owners do. So why do they spend less on their pets at the clinic? The answer may partly be that cats are generally viewed as independent and self-sufficient. Veterinary technicians know that this is because cats are usually better at hiding disease than dogs. The question then becomes, "How do technicians convince pet owners that their cats can live happier, healthier lives through routine care and preventive medicine?" The answer lies largely in client education.
