I had towed the boat past the signs to Repton and Mylestom on a dozen occasions or more on the way back after a few fishing trips. I nearly kicked myself for not knowing how good the fishing was there. How had I missed this place so many times in thepast? R ughly half an hour south of Coffs Harbour, the Bellingen and Kalang rivers meet the ocean. They are not overly deep rivers by any means but the distance they both travel is vast and extensive with numerous structural fishing advantages such as bridges, waterfalls, long deep meandering holes and fast running rapids; basically everything fish rich rivers should have.
