It was a far cry from Adelaide in late August. Here we sat on the famous Cable Beach eating watermelon and drinking iced water as we watched the rugrats boogie boarding on the moderate afternoon swell. Hell, the folks back home were shivering throughthe wettest winter they'd seen in years as the mercury struggled to climb above fourteen degrees on most days. Broome on the other hand had served us up a week of ideal weather with temperatures hovering around 32 degrees.
