The Fuzzy Abridged Life Table

摘要

An abridged life table yields nearly the same information as a complete life table and it has the advantages of being much shorter and involving fewer calculations. In this article, fuzzification of the abridged life table has been taken into consideration. We have studied the effect of fuzziness on number of deaths, person years generated in age interval, total person years lived by survivors and life expectancy. The findings have been discussed with one practical example.
