摘要

The Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), which belongs to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan intends to conduct a face-to-face pre-hearing with each Japanese oil company during the period from this week to the next week, in order to know previously how the company will react against the new regulation respectively that requires to increase the rate equipped with new coking or cracking units. Questions are being raised among persons involved in the industry and the experts over the regulation which eventually will force refiners to dismantle crude oil distillation units although it puts up effective use of energy.
