Canada is an attractive and reliable partner in LNG business and welcome investments from foreign countries. We have not so far exported LNG from Canada but now have five projects underway on the west coast, which are scheduled to go on stream by 2019. Of these, export licenses have already been granted for two projects for twenty years. Also, a pipeline project to transport feedstock gas is also being planned. When all the projects are completed, Canada will be able to export 66 million tons per year of LNG.
