MSHA has posted data at its website that lists all of the imminent danger orders that inspectors have issued since July 1 of this year and some in the media are touting it as a "see, we told you how bad stuff is" kind of thing. Some media reports have excerpted some of the issues that led to MSHA inspectors issuing the orders. The raw 245 number is more than one such order being issued per day across the nation's coalfields.
