摘要

Purpose: To propose a metamodel that deals with service system analysis and design based on an operational view with three layers namely, service activities, service systems and value constellation. Summary: The foundation on which the service science is built is the service dominant logic that proposes the service systems as involving arrangements, negotiations, and competitions in the context of economic exchange. This approach is not suitable for analysis design and innovation of service systems. Moreover the service dominant logic approach highly abstract and may be difficult to apply in real- world studies. This paper proposes an approach which can be easily understood and can be used for analysis of service systems and design. This system allows development of software for service systems. This also provides a straight forward method for moving from the general concept to the details of the service systems.
