Teijin Twaron (Tokyo) says it plans to expand capacity for its Twaron para-aramid high-performance fiber by 20% in the Netherlands,to 23,000 m.t./year,at a cost of euro140 million (us188 million).The expansions will take place at Teijin's plant at Emmen,the Netherlands,which produces monomer and polymers,and at its yarn-spinning facility at Delfzijl,the Netherlands.
