Development of Zeolite-Containing Hyerocracking Catlyst and Its Verification n a Commercial Unit

The role of hydrocracking units has become increasingly important because they produce low-sulfur middle distillates, which have less than 10 ppm sulfur and can be used directly as one of the blendstocks of ultra-low-sulfur diesel gas oil without any additional treatment. In order to produce more middle distillates in hydrocracking units, it is necessary to develop catalysts that h ave both high cracking activity and high middle distrillates selectivity. The cracking activity of zeolite-containing catalysts is higher, but their middle distillate selectivity is lower edue to their strong acidity.~1
