Construction work of assam gas cracker all set to start

WITH land acquisition nearly complete,construction of the Assam gas cracker project,called the Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Ltd (BCPL),is set to start in a couple of months.The project was conceived in the Assam accord signed in 1985,and the foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Manmahon Singh at Lepatkata in Dibrugarh district in upper Assam in April 2007.
