Fanuc to demonstrate Roboshot machines at K

FANUC Robomachine Deutschland is exhibiting three of its electric Roboshot injection moulding machines, all designed for low energy consumption. The Roboshot machines all come with energy recovery control, torque dependent dosing control - PMC 2 and 3 - and AI mould protection. In addition, the machines generate electrical energy as they decelerate (when closing and opening the mould after locking), which can reduce energy costs. This can amount to an energy reduction of 10%, on top of the 40-60 percent lower energy consumption of electric machines as opposed to hydraulic.
