Few technologies can match the exponential growth witnessed in drug delivery in recent years,and even fewer are able to compete with the enabling capacity of nanotechnology.The potential success or failure of the next blockbuster drug could very well ride on the sophistication of its transport,metabolic and/or absorption mechanism,which is why so many researchers are feverishly working to increase the I.Q.of"smart"drug delivery systems-essentially revolutionizing the world of modern medicine.
