Milton Keynes Theatre and Gallery Company is seeking an architect to design an extension to its Blonski Heard-designed home (pictured). For hosting concerts and civic events, the add-on will also have education suites, social spaces, a cinema, 'substantial' foyer, bookshop, cafe and bar. [Expressions of interest are due 4 June] The University of Edinburgh seeks a designer to refurbish three floors in its 1970s Ashworth Two laboratories on the King's Buildings Campus. The building will be redeveloped in three phases covering each of the 624m~2 floors in turn. Five companies will be invited to tender [PQQs to be returned by 4 June].
