An open international design competition has been launched for the £16 million overhaul of the Royal Dublin Society Arena sports ground at Ballsbridge. Organised by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, the two-stage contest will select a 'signature' design to boost capacity at Leinster Rugby's home ground from 18,500 to 25,000 [Registration closes 8 September].
