Recent developments

As you may know, the journal "Structural Concrete" has been indexed with Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science since 2009. This year "Structural Concrete" obtained its first Impact Factor (IF); the value of the IF for 2011 is 0.270 and represents a sound start. In a given year, the IF of a journal is the number of paper citations in indexed journals in that year divided by the number of papers published in the journal considered during the preceding two years. Hence, I would like to encourage you to cite papers recently published in "Structural Concrete" in your future articles where relevant. In this way we can gradually increase the value of the IF.
