The IDsentrie identity management appliance brings together several forms of secure user management into one device. This appliance focuses on two main areas of identity management, the first being network authentication. This device provides a way not only to manage wired authentication, but also wireless network access. The most interesting of the features is the ability for a client to be authenticated before receiving a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) assigned address. This assures that no machine gets on the network without a properly authenticated user.
