The IDsentrie 1000 from A10 Networks is a well-rounded identity manage- ment device,This appliance has many features to help streamline managing existing users and adding new ones- all in one place. This product includes features such as a user self-service web portal for password management, identity tracking with IP to ID, a built-in RADIUS server, user provisioning, and guest access and authenticated DHCP. We found this product to be fairly simple to install. Once the appliance is plugged in, the IP settings are set from a Hyper-Terminal connection. From there, the rest of the configuration and management is done through the web GUI. The GUI itself is nicely organized, but we found it took us some time to really learn to navigate it efficiently. The reason for this is that all the main menus use the abbreviated names, such as IEM for Identity Events Manager. This was confusing at first because we found ourselves forgetting where certain functions would be located.
