Edwin Skaug wanted a c-store store with bike parking and bike essentials, so he decided to open one himself, according to NACS. His store is called "A Convenience Cycle" and stocks not only toilet paper, batteries, toothpaste and snacks in its 300-square foot space, but also tools and parts for bicycle repairs. Skaug also repairs or tunes-up bikes by appointment and plans to turn an old Dutch cargo tricycle into a traveling store to sell items at bike traffic hot spots after receiving city permits.
