ICE community advisory boards to tackle issues affecting engineers and help them design, manage and build infrastructure

The ICE has launched nine Community Advisory Boards (CABs) to drive the production of trusted, authoritative and independent insight into the major issues facing the industry. The CABs will identify problems facing engineers, the environment and society while providing governance and support to bodies such as communities of practice and specialist knowledge societies. Each CAB is aligned to strategic ICE priorities, including decarbonisation, driving productivity and resilience. CAB members include industry experts and representatives of supporting communities. There will be programmes of events featuring talks, research insights and good practice content. They will support the efforts of engineers and infrastructure professionals to design, manage and construct infrastructure. Three boards are backed by strategic partnerships with Bluebeam (data and digital), Geobear (driving productivity) and Wavin (flooding), who will support the boards' programmes and activities.
