RO-SPACE IN THE CHINESE CLASSICAL GARDEN

摘要

We define"Ro-space" as a general term to represent subsidiary to buildings or rooms. In Chinese classical garden, various significant number of Ro-space are developed. Our research demonstrates that Ro-space does not only reside in passage, but hosts various actions: enjoying scenery, taking rests, making a conversation and so forth.
