New Dye Box Offers Eco Benefits

The recently redesigned dye box from UK-based Avocet Dye &. Chemical Co uses around 53% less material than the previous box and is 20% lighter. Michael Lever, managing director of Avocet, said: "The new box provides considerable environmental benefits in terms of resources and transport." The company redesigned the box to produce a UN-approved box, capable of giving increased loading capacity in full container loads for its growing export markets. The maximum gross mass of the old box was 32 kg, whereas the maximum gross of the new box is 37kg, resulting in an additional 5kg capacity.
