Google's steelwork contractor Severf ield said profit would recover in the second half of the financial year after it slumped by one-third in the first six months. The firm, which is working on Google's London headquarters in King's Cross and recently completed its contract on 22 Bishopsgate in the City, said pre-tax profit dropped to £8.2m in the six months to September, from £13.1m in the same period last year.
