Owing to the recent rise in iron ore export prices, iron ore exporting companies are expecting high financial results for the year. South Africa's Kumba Iron Ore ("Kumba") is among them, which announced on 14 May that it had reported a highly anticipated increase in its semi-annual (Jan-Jun 2019) profit to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange according to the JSE requirements for listed companies.
