日据时期台湾传统诗文中的'同文同种'认识(1895-1930)

摘要

"同文同种"说原为"亚细亚连带论"的理论基础.日本殖民台湾之后,逐步将"同文同种"说整编为殖民统治的意识形态.同一时期,台湾传统诗文中出现相当数量的"同文同种"表述.其认识主要表现为三个层面:其一,强调以东亚为整体对抗西方压迫,认为中国大陆、台湾地区、日本为命运共同体关系;其中存在对中国国家利益的认识盲点,但尚未远离"同文同种"的原始意义.其二,聚焦东亚地缘政治,强调"日华亲善"以及台湾所处的"媒介者"位置,表现出一定认同倾斜.其三,以现代性为价值判准,中国历史文化被认定为现代性阻碍因素,两岸间的差异被刻意凸显,相关认识进一步向殖民者靠拢.上述三层意义并非历时性的递嬗关系,而是同时并存,凸显哪一层面端看殖民当局的操纵和政治环境的变化.%The theory of the"same culture and same race"used to be the theoretical base of the"Asian Associated Theory",and was gradually integrated into the ideology of colonial rule right after the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. There were quite a number of the theory's formulations in Taiwan traditional poems and essays in this period,the understanding of which was mainly reflected in three aspects: First, it emphasizes the resistance of the East Asian countries as a whole against Western oppression,regarding the relationship between mainland,Taiwan and Japan as that of destiny community. Despite the ignorance of Chinese national interests,this understanding is largely consistent with the original meaning of the"same culture and same race"theory. Secondly,it focuses on East Asian geopolitics and stresses the idea of the"Japan-China Goodwill"and the Taiwan"intermediary"position,exhibiting certain identity inclination. Finally,with modernity as the value criterion,Chinese history and culture are taken as the hindrance of modernity and the differences between the two sides are deliberately highlighted, with some understanding favoring the colonists. In fact, the above-mentioned three aspects do not have the relationship of diachronic evolvement. Instead, they coexist. However, which aspect will gain prominence depends upon the manipulation of colonial authorities and the change of political environment.
