Based on the statistics and data concluded from the questionnaires to non-English majors in a higher vocational col-lege, this research mainly discusses the current situation and its weaknesses in the teaching of English culture, highlights the neces-sity and effective means of culture penetration which should be applied into higher vocational English teaching for non-English majors.%该研究通过对高职某院校非英语专业学生的问卷调查,探讨了当前高职公共英语教学中关于英语文化教学的现状和不足,在研究结果的基础上提出在高职公共英语教学中进行文化渗透的必要性和可行性策略。
