The life cycle and biological habits of Mansoniella cinnamomi (Zheng et Liu) were investigated in the water conservation forest of Shanghai, and the differentiation of instars and morphological characteristics of their nymphs were also done.On the basis of head width frequency distribution and morphological characteristics, the nymph of M.cinnamomi could be divided into five instars with the head width of 0.23±0.03,0.34±0.02,0.47±0.03,0.57±0.02 and 0.68±0.03 mm,respectively. The nymph morphological characteristics in each age were described in detail. The pests occur four generations per year with obvious overlapped generations in Shanghai, and their eggs overwinter under the cortex in petiole, chief vein and the thin end of twig. The generation occurrence calendars of M.cinnamomi were determined and the life cycle table was provided for Shanghai.Detailed habits of adult during the periods of emergence, mating and oviposition were observed, and the activity, feeding and molting habits of nymphs were also recorded.%研究了上海市水源涵养林内樟颈曼盲蝽(Mansoniella cinnamomi(Zheng et Liu,1992))的生活史和生物学习性,以及若虫的龄期划分和各龄若虫的形态特征.
