基于高职英语阅读教学的文化渗透研究

         

摘要

It is essential for learners to possess the reading ability w hich is fairly im portant to language learning. Languages and cultures are closely connected w ith each other. Languages have deep cultural connotations, w hile cultures are revealed by languages. Therefore, it is obvious that cultural penetration plays a significant role in higher vocational English reading teaching. B ased on the principles of practicability, relevance, gradation and m oderation, cultural know ledge like religion, history, custom s and literature should be taught by contrast, role play, discussion and appreciation in order to help students to accum ulate cultural know ledge, cultivate the habit of discovering and m aking use of them for im proving higher vocational students' reading com prehension.%  阅读能力是语言学习者必须具备的能力,它对语言学习起到关键的作用。语言和文化紧密相联,语言承载着文化内涵,文化依靠语言得以表现。因此,在高职英语阅读教学中进行文化渗透的重要作用不言而喻。教学时应遵循实用性、相关性、递进性和适度性原则,将宗教文化、历史背景、风土人情、英美文学等文化知识通过对比、演绎、讨论和赏析的方法进行渗透,帮助学生积累文化知识,培养他们在阅读过程中善于发掘和利用文化知识的习惯,以此来提高高职学生的阅读能力。
