非典型钙粘蛋白Celsr1-3在神经系统发育和PCP中的功能

     

摘要

Celsrl-3 (for Cadherin EGF laminin seven pass receptor), the mammalian orthologs of Drosophila Flamingo/starry night, encode proteins of the cadherin superfamily. Celsrl-3 belong to a group named ' core PCP ( planar cell polarity) genes'. All three Celsr genes are expressed in the developing central nervous system (CNS) in mice. Here, we summari2e some work on Celsrl-3 in PCP and neural development. Celsrl is a major player in vertebrate PCP and it plays important roles in classic PCP events. Celsr2 and Celsr3 regulate ciliogenesis and are involved in ependymal cilia development probably via PCP signaling. Celsrl-3 differentially regulate FBM neuron migration. Celsrl helps to specify the direction of facial branchiomotor(FBM) neuron migration, whereas Celsr2 and 3 control its ability to migrate. More evidence has accumulated for crucial and" different roles of Celsrl-3 in PCP and brain development and maintenance.%Celsr1-3(Cadherin EGF Laninin Seven Pass Receptor 1-3)是果蝇Flamingo/starry night的哺乳动物同源基因,其编码属于钙粘蛋白家族的非典型钙粘蛋白.Celsr1-3是“核心平面细胞极性(PCP)基因”组的成员.3个Cekr基因在小鼠中枢神经系统发育过程中都有表达.总结有关Celsr1-3在神经系统发育和PCP中的工作.Celsr1是在脊椎动物PCP的主要参与者,在许多典型PCP事件中发挥着重要作用.Celsr2和Celsr3可调节纤毛生成,并很可能是通过PCP信号参与调控脑室管膜纤毛发生.Celsr1-3在FBM神经元迁移过程中扮演着不同的重要角色.Celsr1决定FBM神经元迁移的方向,而Celsr2和3则控制其迁移能力.越来越多的证据证明Celsr1-3在神经系统的发育、维持以及PCP中发挥着多种不同的重要作用.
