The complex of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid andtrivalent antimony ion has been synthesized. The composition andstructure of the complex is characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, infrared spectra, thermogravimetric and differentialthermal analysis, X - ray powder diffraction. The complex has thecomposition of H[ Sb ( C1o H12 N2O8 ) ]@ H2O. The crystal of the complex is colorless tlin plates, stable in air, non- hygroscopicity anddecomposed above 295 °C. Infrared spectra indicate oxygen and nitrogen atoms coordinated. The first stage in the thermal decomposition process of the complex shows the presence of crystal water andthe final residue is antimonous oxide. The results of indexes to the X- ray powder diffraction data indicate that the crystal structure of thecomplex belongs to monoclinic system. The lattice parameters are: a= 0. 823 4 nm, b = 1.364 8 nm, c = 1. 850 2 nm, β = 97.05°, V =2.063 5 nm3, Z = 6, Dx = 2.071 g@cm-3, Do = 2.084 g.cm-3.%采用液固相反应法合成了乙二胺四乙酸锑配合物,用元素分析、摩尔电导、红外光谱、热重差热分析、X射线粉末衍射等对所合成的配合物进行了表征,并对X射线粉末衍射数据进行了指标化.配合物的组成为H[Sb(C1oH12N2O8)]@H20.X射线粉末衍射数据指标化结果表明配合物的晶体结构属于单斜晶系,晶胞参数分别是:a=0.823 4nm,b=1.364 8nm,c=1.850 2nm,β=97.05.,V=2.063 5nm3,Z=6,Dx=2.071 g@cm-3,D0=2.084 g@cm-3.
