摘要

Zinc(II) Complex was prepared by using 4-Bromo- (2-carboxyphenyl)-Pyridine-2-yl ethylene amine and 1,10-Phenanthroline ligands and Tetra fluoro borate salt with a metahligand ratio of 1:1:1. Distorted octahedron structures were elucidated on the basis of elemental analyses, IR, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductivity. Anticancer activity [In Vitro] evaluation of cyto-toxic effects on Breast cancer MCF-7 cell lines of metal complexes was higher active than ligands. Gram + , gram- and yeast activity was carried out by using Disc diffusion method. We report synthesis, spectral evaluation , antimicrobial and anticancer study of Zinc (II) Tetra fluoro borate complexes of 4-Bromo-(2-carboxyphenyl)-pyridine-2-yl ethylene amine mixed with 1,10-Phenanthroline.
