摘要

A structure-controlled, namely, spiral-structured fixed-abrasive pad was developed for finishing of an optical glass with slurry free. And, it was found that: 1. The surface quality obtained was as good as that obtained by conventional polishing and the finishing efficiency was much higher. 2. The edge roll off could be significantly improved, as compared with conventional polishing.
