Analysis on the Structure of Professional Ideal of Physical Education Teachers

By using the literature material method, questionnaires, data statistics method and other methods, this paper conducts some research on the structure of professional teaching ideal of Physical Education (P.E.) teachers. The results show that the structure is composed of three dimensions-sports ideal, health ideal and subject ideal. In order to analyze the correlation in the structure of professional teaching ideal of P.E. teachers, this paper uses structure equation and constructs an evaluation model. We found that the three dimensions differently impact P.E. teachers' professional teaching ideal. The degree of their influential effect is 0.77 (sports ideal), 0.79 (health ideal) and 0.72 (subject ideal). It can be seen that health ideal has the greatest influence on professional teaching idea of P.E. teachers. This paper provides a relatively new path for evaluating and analyzing the structure of professional teaching ideal of P.E. teachers, and provide some reference for the practices and training of P.E. teachers.
