Treatment of Wastewater from Vegetable Oil Refinery and its Reuse using Upflow Anaerobic Fixed Film Fixed Bed Reactor System

摘要

Feasibility of an upflowrnanaerobic fixed film fixed bed reactor systemrnwas investigated for the treatment of vegetablernoil refinery industry wastewater with recourse tornbiogas recovery. After removal of free oil andrngrease through oil and grease removal facility,rnthe wastewater was used as feed. Based on thernstudies it can be concluded that an upflowrnanaerobic fixed film fixed bed reactor systemrnwould be an appropriate treatment option forrnvegetable oil refinery wastewater and it can bernreused by using further treatment.
