摘要

The authors have developed a jaw movement training robot system with a 6-axis parallel mechanism. We have already implemented this system in the intermaxillary traction therapy as well as in the mouth opening and closing training, and its efficacy in the clinical practice has been confirmed. In the present study, to conduct a very accurate and effective treatment, we added a system for real-time monitoring of electromyography of the masseter muscle and digastric muscle during the clinical treatment. We also improved this system to carry out the intermaxillary traction therapy more simply. Herein, we report the details of our system.
