Mathematical models for study the ECE limiting current and second-order ECE reactions developed as a result of the electrochemical reaction in the rotating disk electrode. The effective analytical methods called the homotopy analysis method (HAM) have been used to solve non-linear differential equations. Simple algebraic analytical solutions for the concentration of reactants and the current response are elucidated. The concentration/current expressions obtained here also agree sufficiently with numerical results. The effect on concentration and current of different physical parameter values was computed and shown graphically.
