As a special cultural phenomenon, chivalry is a comprehensive product of Chinese traditional culture, and has complicated relations with Confucianism, Taoism and ink. With the further strengthening of neo-confucianism in the qing dynasty, the female chivalric image in qing dynasty's novels focuses more on the ethical connotation of Confucianism.
