摘要

Two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs) are crystalline 2D polymer networks whose monomers are organized predictably using directional bonding principles. We developed room-temperature conditions for imine-linked 2D COF synthesis using water- tolerant Lewis acids. By using metal triflate catalysts, high-quality COFs were synthesized at room temperature within 10–30 minutes.
