Objective: Impact of bitter almond studies on mice and guinea itching model. Method: Once a day, 2 h after the administration, 3 days 2 h after the last administration, with 0.9% sodium chloride injection to wash drug, each group of mice intravenously 0.025% small molecular weight dextran-40, Apply histamine phosphate 50 μl of 0.05% at the wound surface to guinea pig, experimental index were recorded in each group. Results: Compared with the saline group, all the varieties of bitter almond paste each dose group can significantly reduce the itching and the number of mice in 30 min (P<0.01). Guinea pigs can also cause itching significantly larger threshold (P<0.01)., Large dose group to reduce the number of mice in 30 min itch and itch threshold for elevated guinea pigs better. Conclusion: Bitter almonds on dextran-induced itch model and histamine-induced phosphorylation local itching guinea pig model have a better therapeutic effect.
