Recent Improvements to Primer-BLAST: A Tool to Design Target-Specific Primers

Primer-blast is a web tool from National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) that helps users design target-specific primers. Since its original release a few years back, we have made various improvements to this tool. These include adding more options to control primer properties, improving genomic database content, allowing user control on distinguishing between the true target and off-targets, performing better primer specificity check and speeding up the search process.
