Antioxidant,Antibacterial,AntifungaI,Cytotoxic Activity and TOTAL Polyphenols in Clusia Multiflora

It has been established that the oxidative stress is one of the main factors that causes a lot of degenerating and chronic illnesses as arteriosclerosis,among others.There is a big number of extracts of plants that have shown antioxidant properties against free radicals produced by food,drugs,among others.It has been recollected roots,leaves,stump and fruit samples of Clusia muliifora in Ubaque-Colombia(4°27’38.1~(..)N 73°55’04.8~(..)W).The vegetable material was grinded after letting it dry for four days to 40°C.Th e extract of every single part of the plant was a macerated with 200 mL of both solvents(ethanol and ethyl acetate).To the bioactivity studies some stock solutions(1 rng/mL al 1% de DMSO in buffer PBS)were prepared.
